Indie Music Lover Rachael Ray Reveals SXSW Party

Celebrity eater Rachael Ray has her own SXSW party taking place opposite ours. She's got Holy Fuck, we've got Fuck Buttons. She's got DJ Efren Ramirez (Napoleon Dynamite), we've got DJ Kevin Barnes (of Montreal). But we've got one major thing in our favor: Rachael Ray won't be there. Here's the 30 Minute Meal lady's event info, via sxsw.com:

Feedback With Rachael Ray
Saturday 3/15 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Beauty Bar (617 E. 7th St.)
Listen Records, Watch Entertainment and Everyday With Rachael Ray come together to bring you Feedback...a feast of hot bands and tasty foods, hosted by America's favorite cook and indie music lover, Rachael Ray. Join us at this merging of great food and even better music with performances by Autovaughn, The Ravonettes [sic], The Cringe, Scissors For Lefty, The Stills, and Holy *&%$. DJ Efren "Pedro" Ramirez from Napoleon Dynamite will be DJ-ing inside. Drinks on us and lots of Rachael's Tasty Recipies. Open to all SXSW badgeholders.
Actually, her party sounds tasty (they said so twice). Don't worry Anthony Bourdain -- you're still our favorite rock 'n' roll gourmand.

Is it wrong that I find *&^% adorable and doable? (You don't need to answer yes ... I know it's wrong, but there's something sweet, sexy and kinda MILFy about her.)

RM, count me in on wanting to take a ride on the Rachel Ray train. Something about her is extremely hot and she can cook.

Anthony Bourdain is a try-hard and a tool. More along the lines of a Pitchfork darling than a Stereogum fave. Or so I thought....

If I were there, I'd be at Rachael Ray's party. She's very hittable. Sexually. Without pants.

Stereogum is not.

Efren "Pedro" Ramirez !!

More like.... Effren "That guy whose shirt that says Vote For Pedro, that you've been wearing for 6 months and didn't know why, except that you know it's cool" Ramirez.

AB (Anthony Bourdain) = AB (Alton Brown) > JO (Jamie Oliver) >>(not enough >s on my keyboard)>> RR

Musically, Jamie takes em all, as he was a drummer in an indie band in the late 90s.

This is not real! It is a hoax, perpetrated by the hipsters at stereogum! Wake up America! They along with the Bildenbergberg group are members of the new world order!

i dont see why anyone cares that rachel ray likes decent music.

theres plenty of imbeciles that listen to this kind of music that i wouldnt want to share a 100ft space with for more than a minute.

at least rachel ray has done something with her life. something tasty.

Quit Your Day Job: Ungdomskulen

The Bergen trio Ungdomskulen play proggy post punk, mixing chops and hooks with a sense of humor. But they don't sound like Primus. When I was in Norway a couple years ago, "Ungdomskulen" seemed to be on everybody's lips (or...

Premature Evaluation: Beck - Modern Guilt
