This Saturday is Village Voice's annual Siren Festival, where thousands of hipsters descend upon Coney Island for indie rock and Nathan's. and i thought the line-up couldn't get any worse from last year. some nice bands, but nothing as spectacular as 2004 and 2003.

I saw Man Man opening for the Fiery Furnaces...now I want to follow them around the country in a van as if they are the Grateful Dead (my van will be less psychedelic and more hobo though). They are a fuckin' spectacle...I'm getting there early just for them.
