Johnny Lydon Revives P.I.L. • Former bandmates Lu Edmonds and Bruce Smith (not original members Jah Wobble and Keith Levene) plus new addition Scott Firth will join the Sex Pistol for five UK gigs this December. It'll be Public Image Ltd's first tour in 17 years. Details at pilofficial.com.

That's exciting news. PIL showed that Lydon had much more depth than he was given credit for during the Pistol years. Can't wait to see what he's gonna do this time around, or catch them live.

In other Sex Pistol-related news, did Steve Jones ever land a new DJ gig anywhere? His show on the now-defunct Los Angeles-based Indie 103.1 was the best thing to happen to the FM airwaves in decades.

Kefe or whatever from Bloc Party is having a dilemma right now. On one hand, he's stoked and on the other, he's still harboring resentment towards Lydon for punching him after he asked when PIL would reunite. But he'll still just end up buying a ticket and being a huge fanboy when all is said and done.
