Kanye Claims Self-Defense West has blogged about the circumstances of his arrest in a long, all caps post titled WHO'S WINNING, ME OR THE MEDIA? He claims that he didn't assault anyone (probably true), that paparazzi should be illegal (perhaps), and that he is not a celebrity, just "a normal person that's famous" (huh?). Read the whole thing here squid brains.

Kanye, I love you but every day you start to sound more and more like Diana Ross and it scares me. -- a concerned fan

Kanye really is the greatest diva of our time, and I mean that in the best way possible.

One person Kanye ISN'T is Quincy Jones. He isn't giving off nearly as much light as he'd like to think. All the REAL art is happening an India right now. He should spend a night in and reflect a little.

ummm....ALL the REAL art is happening in India? WTF? What does that even mean? Are you saying that not one single meaningful display of artistic expression has ever happened outside the country of India? Perhaps you should be the one taking some time out to reflect on your bat-shit comments.

stereogum writes about kanye because his posts get a shit ton of hits and comments. at least half of them are from people like you who leave comments about how they don't understand why he gets blogged about so often. also people talk so much shit about him in barber shops they forget to get they hair cut.

All I know is his new record is fuckin' awesome. I thought for sure a record with very little rapping would fall flat, but jesus, this is so good.

"SIDEBAR, THEY QUOTED ME AS SAYING..."GET THE CAMERA OFF HIM!" LIKE I WAS TALKING IN THIRD PERSON. HE TRIED TO MAKE ME SOUND LIKE A CRAZY PERSON AND PEOPLE BELIEVED HIM. WHAT MERIT DOES THIS GUY HAVE THAT HE CAN SAY SOMETHING..."
