Is Kanye that out of touch with the rest of the world that he doesn't know who stephen colbert is? I guess that makes sense since he made such an out of touch comment about him being the voice of our generation. He's the voice of 12-15 year old kids who still watch MTV after school and don't understand any better.

hahaha! there's so much hate for kanye right now that people can't wait to find a way to hate on the man. he's the biggest artist in the world and can do whatever he wants. people are going to love him no matter what he does. hes not going to leave the scene for a long time so it's about time everyone just accepts that

I gotta go with the side of Kanye kidding on this one. He might have a huge ego, but he's not a complete idiot (although the "George Bush doesn't care about black people" was...interesting). When it comes down to it, I doubt Kanye even actually thought to put that up himself, I'm sure he knows who Colbert is, and his publicist probably told him to write that because, as we've proven, it would cause a stir. That's just good marketing.

Colbert called for the "HUMBLE KANYE CHALLENGE" where he called his viewers to all download his Christmas album at 5pm Eastern, Wednesday December 3rd in an attempt to knock Kanye out of the top spot on iTunes (A Colbert Christmas is currently #15).

This can only get better from here.
