Kanye Gives Props To Paparazzi • A photo of Rihanna near a taxi triggers Kanye's latest meditation on modern pop superstars: "Justin in the new Mike, Beyonce's the new Tina Turner, Gaga's Madonna, Jay is Sinatra... Wayne is Hendrix, Thom Yorke is Roger Waters..." I thought Jamie Foxx was Sinatra?

I can deal with most of his comparisons; not necessarily agree, but I can deal with them. However, "Wayne is Hendrix" needs to be addressed, and by addressed I mean never uttered or even considered as a reasonable comparison again.

Funny to see just how worked up all of you've get just because Kanye West blogs - bitter much? Whatever your gripe with his OPINION may be, I at least respect the fact he's sharing an interesting perspective on his main topic - the photograph - he makes an interesting point about their artistic quality or lack thereof, and in general, his blog presents plenty of interesting art/events/design/etc that may otherwise not be seen on a larger scale - yes, he has a platform, yes, he is opinionated...so what - so are you - only difference is - I actually believe Kanye sees the irony - that any of you might "vomit in disgust" because of a blog post shows just how vapid you must be - ugh, now i've gone and made myself tired of my own rant - thanks interwebs.

His point about paparazzi photos is stupid. When you are chasing someone around and trying to get any photo you can with the few seconds they are in sight, you don't take the time to measure the light and make sure you have perfect exposure and white balance settings and frame the shot artistically. You just take some pictures before they disappear.

And his trying and failing to compare this decade's celebrities to those from a variety of different decades in the past is pretty bad too.

Funny to see how people get all worked when people blog about another person's blog. I mean its a blog, all comments should be welcomed right? It's funny what he says because Beyonce has been trying hard to be the new Tina and in her own words "i want be an icon." There were rumours (from her camp i bet) last year that Jay-Z was abusing her by not being very nice to her (aw), pushing her around, etc. Then Rhianna & Chris Brown came and pull he Ike & Tina rug from under her. These people are such an embarrassing joke and Kanye is the idiot you give the side eye and avoid at every corner for telling it.
