Keith Richards Gets Blood Drained
We don't write about the Stones too often around here 'cause frankly ... we think their best work may just be behind them. But when Keith Richards falls out of a palm tree in Fiji (!) that's too bizarre to ignore. And we knew it wasn't gonna end well. The Sun reports that the 62-year-old axeman, after a week of headaches, is now due to have his skull drilled and drained.
The mag says it all started when Keef and Ronnie climbed a tree to get coconuts.
And the unfortunate fall? We assume he lost balance in a laughing fit when he learned Mick's agreed to star in the ABC series Let's Rob Mick Jagger.
Get well soon Keef, so you and the boys can continue robbing your fans.

By coincidence, a friend of Keith's relayed the entire story of his first blood drain back in '74 to me the other night. Said he had boils all over his body that antibiotics wouldn't help because his blood was so toxic from the China White. Pure aryan blood is all he'll take, or so I'm told.

Rachel-that's B.S.!! Keith NEVER had his blood "drained".It was a joke he made after being asked stupid questions over and over about his addictions.
