Kevin Drew Covers New Order

November's been a good month for New Order covers. Earlier this month of course we geeked to Thom & Co.'s "Ceremony" while warming ourselves in the glow of Radiohead's laptop-side chat. The Hills reconnected us with Frente!'s "Bizarre Love Triangle" Monday night (Justin Bobby, such a douche). And today PRI spreads word that Broken Social Scenester Kevin Drew sat a spell with Faith Salie and her "Fair Game" show to cover "Age Of Consent." By Kev's admission it's a "voice-shot, piano, hand-shaking New Order cover," which roughly translates to piano-and-vocals. It's a little quiet and a little dull, but the full session's worthwhile, including "Safety Bricks" (better) with fellow BSSer Brendan Canning, "Have A Life," and a Q&A with Faith. Also Faith interviews filmmaker Noah Baumbach (of The Squid And The Whale fame) and a scientist guy who claims average IQs go up with each generation. Told ya, Dad. Download the entire show at Fair Game.

Age of Consent is not the interview but I found it here. It is also easier to listen to/download just his songs.
