Kidz Bop - Ick Factor = Worship Jamz
Razor & Tie's romper rockin' Kidz Bop 8 gave us a lot to blog about in '05. The "Since U Been Gone" clip was one of the best music videos of the year. Then we listened to a prepubescent "Take Me Out," which was ... creepier. Volume 9 may prove the weirdest yet, with its covers of Weezer and Ashlee Simpson.
Thank god, then, for Worship Jamz. Like Kidz Bop, Jamz has youngins hollering popular songs. But instead of "I didn't steal your boyfriend," they sing about Jesus and shit.
There's also Los Kidz Bop. For parents who want Shakira's help raising bilingual progeny.
I predict Hip Hop Bop by March. "I take you to the candy shop / I'll let you lick the lollipop." See? Nice and wholesome.

Aw... when you mentioned a Weezer cover, I was hoping that the Kidz Bop kidz were going to cover We Are All on Drugs. That would have been SPECIAL.
