Led Zeppelin's One-Night Reformation
For every Led Zep rumour we've posted, there's been twenty we haven't. But today, finally and officially, the reams of dreams of a Page/Plant/Jones/Bonham reformation have come true: The original and surviving Led men will put Jason behind the kit for the first (and only other) time since an Atlantic jam in '88 to play just one show, at London's O2 arena on 11/26, as part of a tribute to Atlantic records founder Ahmet Ertegun. Zeppelin was part of the Atlantic family their entire careers.
There are 22,000 seats in O2, and tickets to the show can be acquired only "by ballot" from AhmetTribute.com. They're going for £125 (around $250). That is, before the touts get their greasy paws on 'em. The proceeds to go Ahmet's Education Fund, paying for college scholarships. And hey, Paolo Nutini's playing too! So, there's that.

Chuck Klosterman's book IV has an old interview where Plant scoffs at the idea of playing with Bonham's kid... funny what a lil $$$ will do.

Led Zeppelin really have had their day now!! Robert Plant was miming to Immigrant song when I saw him in 1990 so it amazes me that people want to live in the past so much!! They were one of the best live bands Ive seen but 28 years on??? Anyway Ive registered for tix so I will see for myself if I get any!!

Legendary Guitarist joined by two young musicians on National Tour.
Davy Graham, supported by Mark Pavey and John Smith
Alexis Korner, of Blues Incorporated singled Davy out and organized his
first record "3/4 AD" for Topic in 1962. The EP contained the authenticated
version of "Angi" and was what a generation of players caught between
Skiffle and R&B had been waiting for. It's almost impossible to describe the
effect of that one record.
In 1964, Davy was recorded live at Troubadour in Earls Court, shortly after
he had got back from Tangiers. In North Africa, he had come up with a new
tuning more compatible with the music of the oud - DADGAD. He exploited the
potential of the tuning to explore the modal characteristics of the old
Irish air; the arrangement unfolding from a slow beginning and then drawn
out and danced with, only to be put back gently and reverently in place.
This tour sees Davy's back catalogue re-released and introduces a new album,
entitled "Broken Biscuits" shipping imminently.

Mark Pavey has recorded and toured with Davy Graham for the last three years.
Mark has also toured with Duck Baker and has opened for Bert Jansch, Martin Carthy, John Renbourn, Wizz Jones, and Michael Chapman. Davy has helped arrange some of Pavey's songs and they often perform together on stage. Pavey's set is a mixture of folk revival classics and his own work.
A new album is scheduled for release at the end of November.
