Am I missing something, or does a Stereogum editor need to be fired?

Amrit has been fired, then rehired.

Maybe the fact that her manager hasn't done anything to warrant her having a featured item is reason for them to be fired.

Reduced to making fun of herself. Awesome. I guess the reinventing yourself for shitty mainstream didn't work out too well. Perhaps that's why she's reduced to doing the whole, "hey, remember this record I made that you actually liked 15 years ago?"
Come on out and hear me play it in it's entirety, 30 something indie rockers. Give me a break already Liz Phair. You are not relevant anymore. Get lost.

Am I the only one who actually thought it was pretty funny, and it's cool that Liz can make fun of herself even as she returns to her roots?
