Lily Allen Covers The Pretenders

No, not "The Pretender" -- the Pretenders, that band fronted by Chrissie Hynde and her Fiery Furnace bangs: Our favorite chicken-soup spoonin' MySpacer takes a leisurely, sunny stab at "Don't Get Me Wrong," taken from Radio 1 Established 1967, a compilation celebrating the 40th anniversary of Radio 1. (Speaking of "The Pretender," the Foo Fighters are on there, tackling Wings.) Dig Lil's '80s moment along with some interview clips after the j.

Aw, great track. Some of those Radio 1 cover versions have been ear-bleeding awful, but fankfully Lily done us proud!
