Lindsay Lohan Very Into .38 Special, British Punk Rock

Lindsay Lohan, who is all grown up if you didn't hear, continues to fascinate with her denials about global warming (iFilm).

But this is a music blog. And we wanna know what's on her iPod! Westwood One comes through:

LINDSAY LOHAN: "Arctic Monkeys, Hard-Fi, still listen to .38 Special, Journey, Pat Benatar, Janis Joplin. I listen to everything. I listen to hip hop. Oh, I love Goldfrapp for a different kind of vibe. Tegan and Sara, I love, love that song. I don't know, I have all these random things on my iPod and like all… I’m very into British punk rock right now. Oh, The Academy is amazing."
No "Please Please"? Liar.

But thanks for sharing, firecrotch.

Or did she mean The Academy Is (http://www.myspace.com/theacademyis)? They're quite a lot more popular than The Academy, so that was the first lot that came to my mind.

"The Academy Is... amazing"

she seems like one of those people who act really jazzed up about all kinds of music, but if you tried to talk to them about that music you'd quickly realize that they know about one or two songs from each artist, and just barely at that.

"But thanks for sharing firecrotch."

Yikes, I read that the wrong way.

I remember Andy Dick calling Alicia Witt's character in "Bongwater" firecrotch numerous times. It was funny then and it's funny now.

What's the point of posting this shit? Am I now informed by the "powers that be Lohan" so I can synch my ipod up with hers? The only reason these people are celebrities are because of stupid fucking shit like this. Thanks for feeding the beast.

I'm with tobias funkie on this one. She's probably got like 3 songs each of all the artists listed.

Perhaps. But in the case of .38 Special, how many songs do you really need?

I'm with Patrick -- Why the fuck is this even being posted? Who cares?

Huh. Never would've figured that Lindsey Lohan was a .38 Special fan.

This might be the most publicity they've gotten in 15 years.

"... like all… I’m very into British punk rock right now."

I thought the same thing, gooba. I don't hate her taste in music but I agree, she seems like she'd be one of those people who knows different music but doesn't know anything about it. (if that makes sense)

Whatever. Her last movie sucked. :(

she loves what song by Tegan and Sara? or is she just really confused haha. She loves the song Tegan and Sara. She has no idea what she's talking about.

1. Tegan and Sara are a band, not a song.
2. She likes British music? Tegan and Sara are CANADIANS, damnit!

Quit Your Day Job: Megafaun
