Lindsay Lohan Wants To Make Trade Fair

Apparently Lindsay Lohan has begun sporting an equal sign on her left hand. What's worse: the fact that she probably doesn't care about free trade ... or that she's taking style points from Chris Martin? (Thanks to Dan for the tip.) Okay, okay ... probably it's just part of her costume for Prairie Home Companion. I hope.

Not to be outdone, Hilary Duff will save the environment one piece of confetti at a time.

What I want to know is was she singing a duet with Meryl Streep?

The real question is: What would you write on the side of your piano?

I'd Stencil NATO

What did Eddie Vedder write on his arm during MTV Unplugged? I'm a big fan of rockers writing on their appendages with a Sharpie, but I can't remember.

This is probably from the filming of that Prairie Home Companion movie, yes?

Ah, yes Prairie Home Companion. Eddie Vedder wrote 'pro-choice' on his arm.

she probably doesn't even know what the concept of trade means, especially in the economic sense. i bet that growing up her friends hated her for that.

Well, I'm not so sure Chris Martin does either.

I think Vedder wrote "Pro-Choice" or something to do with abortion rights, if I remember correctly.

That's not an equals sign. It's just a convenient reminder of her initials, lest she forgets.

Wait EasyP, "she probably doesn't even know what the concept of trade means, especially in the economic sense" -- I'll bet she does... she can't possibly get ALL that coke for free.

so chris martin may be a "self righteous" jerk, but um, i think he actually does know what fair trade is. his support for it also has a point.
lindsay lohan?
she's just pointless.

oh man.. lindsay lohan it must be said is a spot on the earth. a little giggling cunt, she's a really bad person inside and out. why must we promote people like that conceited 'im just a girly girl livin the dream' type CUUNT to the top. i guess its cause enough assholes go to her movies.

she's just like the starlet persona Sophia Coppola took the piss out of so well in Lost In Translation.

i don't know about you guys, but if i became very famous working in my choice profession, i would have a lot of fun, go out, fuck celebrities i've had crushes on, probably do a little coke, whatever. also i would give to charity and raise awareness for causes in need.

arocke--your point is well-taken.
that being said, if i failed miserably at becoming famous, didn't work in my chosen profession and didn't fuck celebrities, if i was just a boring, random, common loser i would probably spend most of my time bashing celebrity bitches on the internet. ya know to make my own boring cubicle days go by a bit qucker......

Well, I guess C-Mart does understand the concept of trade and I'm not too offended that he rallies for it in his spare time. BUT, judging from the new music video for 'Speed of Sound' I'd say he's trying to be the next Bono. Coldplay will never be the next U2, can we let that die please? And Lindsay honey, I don't mind you getting all charitable, but try to do something new and exciting or at least spooge off of someone that you have a hope of understanding. I mean, it's terrible when you don't want to get caught up in all those 'issues' and all.

chris martin and coldplay are very very average musicians and anyone out there who has seriously studied music and reads and writes music will know that. Fuck coldplay they are over rated pretentious twats. why should anyone give a damn about chris martins political ideas any more than their postman's ideologies.

Hello - really like to say im a massive coldplay fan and Make Trade Fair supporter. I don't believe coldplay are a better band than U2, i don't believe for one second they are any worse. I've seen them twice this year and they've proven to be the greatest 2 days for me of 2005 they produce great music and a fantastic live act. Make trade fair is a good cause no matter who supports it, does it matter as long as they get the results thats great. They could simply do nothing.

I agree with Matt! thats rediculous that your all saying how shit Lindsay Lohan is for having the make trade fair sign on her hand etc. i mean yeah i think she`s shit as much as the next person but she deserves respect for even having that on her hand and supporting such a huge issue. Coldplay are awesome, they are great musicians i saw them recently and they put on such a great show so yeah take that! :) lol YEAH
