Live From Zilker Park

We're heading off too see our old friend Mr. Leo in a bit. Check here later -- and throughout the weekend -- for photos, videos, setlists, reviews, etc. from Austin City Limits. There's so much indie rock to delight in this weekend, and while we've already seen like all these bands live this year, we we will not be jaded! Well, not more than usual.

Stereogum's most psyched for Van Morrison. And we know it'll be a fun time if the weather cooperates. Fingers crossed for a crazy duet or some other surprise. We're actually going to some tapings this weekend too! Sufjan, Raconteurs, and Cat Power! (Not all together.)

My band and I have been trying to find lists of music industry contacts to submit our demo tape and publicity kit... Does anyone know anything about the $9.95 list on:

http://aerialentertainment.com

I think we're going to do it, but I'd appreciate any feedback.

Band To Watch: Blank Dogs

Blank Dogs are actually singular: It's the insanely prolific one-man Brooklyn-based band of Mr. Blank Dog. We don't know too much about the biography of the guy behind the bedroom new-wave pop/punk and he's usually covering his face with masks...
