Low Remix EP

Tonight The Monkeys Die collects five remixes of a great tune off Low's surprisingly amped up Great Destroyer. Available on CD later this year, but on iTunes now, the EP features versions of "Monkey" by Fog, Crew Jones, Stephin Merritt, Bob Mould, and The Count. They're all pretty awesome ... well, you can skip the Crew Jones one (slowcore and rap don't mix well). Here's the original:

Low will (gently) rock Decatur, GA at the Paste Rock'n'Reel Festival October 22 and 23.. It's one of the band's only concert dates this year. Festival line-up and ticket info here.

Yep - Cru Jones is one of the greatest protagonists of the 80's...possibly THE greatest.
