Meet Cheikh Lo

And now for something completely different.

Senegal's Cheikh Lo, a protege of Youssou N'Dour, has his third album out on Nonesuch. It features a 40-person Brazillian percussion group and former James Brown arranger Pee Wee Ellis on sax.

"There is not one weak track on this album," says Associated Press.

Not your thing? Don't worry -- we'll talk about American Idol later.

I've been listening to Cheikh Lo for about 5 or 6 years now. He's brilliant.

I defy you to sit and listen to this... and NOT to move to the rhythm or the beat.
