Once I got past the shock of the new sound, I find that these songs are "growers" ... like most of Cornell's music has been in the past. I'm really excited about this album and can't wait for it to be released. Cornell's having fun with this one !!! "
to be honest, I'm not sure his past music is any better than this music. Soundgarden was about as exciting as watching paint dry.

Chris Cornell's new songs are incredible! His voice is amazing! He's hitting notes like he did on Ultramega OK. He should be able to change up his style and take risks. He's going to gain a whole new set of fans. If he was still going to make songs that sound like Soundgarden and Audioslave, then he would have stayed in those bands. He has said from day one that as a solo artist he will try new things, and he has on every album.
