Meanwhile Thom posted today on the official Radiohead blog.

all i need
s'all wrong

s'all right

s'all wrong

s'all right.

today, myself, i was struggling, feels like we been trapped for a long time. in la la land. very frustrating. and under pressure now
its so slow.
enough to drive anyone loopy. im supposed to be positive>>
smiling faces for the outside. well im fucking tearing my hair out.
too much at once.
furiously writing, working out parts. cracking up.
not much time left. unshure about everything.
im not supposed to put any of this here. so thats why i am.

Thom

Someone needs a hug.

No, no, no Thom. You got the lyrics to Jack Wagner's magnificent "All I Need" all wrong, mate.

Sun Ra covering a Radiohead song??? My head just exploded.

What, it's not Sun Ra? Whatever.

1. Remix? Don't think so...

2. These covers would be awesome if I was 57 years old maybe. Right now they're just sort of really boring.

Mmmm - Thom Yorke - now that's good hugging! (If you like the blonde Ed Grimley type - and my friends, you can bet I do!)

I love Radiohead. I love Thom Yorke.

But sometimes... just sometimes... I want to hit him over the head with a pretentious, self-loathing, super-ego, ironic... baseball bat.

Ahh, Thom. The world is a better place for his angst.

Last time Thom was so stressed out, they made Kid A and Amnesiac. (this is awesome)

it's so ironic and challenging to not use a spellchecker. i am in awe of the edginess of his extra letter in the word 'unsure'.

just keep whining and leave the nonsensical blogs to jack white.

Cool, the frontman for Phantom Planet is on one of the tracks? And it's a cover of "Just"? That's crazy. And cool. Maybe even some kind of crazy cool combination thereof.

I think this was cut and pasted from the LiveJournal of a 15 year old girl.

Just think... if it weren't for some producer guy from MTV Thommy-boy woulda bit it in a pool at the MTV Beachhouse in 1995.

Oh an if you ever see that producer guy strike up a conversation with him. Odds are he will tell you how he saved modern rock within the first 10 minutes.

FYI...I have heard this remix album and it is pretty much the worst thing ever...or pretty close.

ah yes, the standard swipes at Thom Yorke from the smirking, self-satisfied cool kids content with Arctic Monkeys and iPods. keep rocking that Editors album dudes.

The album just went online at emusic. Based on the samples, I went for, like, a third of it. A few tracks (like the "Just" cover, and the one by Matthew Hebert) sound great - and that's all you can realistically hope for on a typical VA album.

Radiohead's done more for music than a hundred short-lived buzz bands have, so let the man speak.

You don't want to find the RJD2 track Jewish... it's shit... infact the whole album's shit apart from the Ronson track.

RJD2's cover of Airbag is the worst though... how could you make a song that good that bad?!?!

Anyway... jump on your Limewire you lazy bugger and go steal it. Let's face it. It's not worth buying.
