50 Cent Meets Nu Shooz

Village Voice thinks you guys won't like this, but I have faith.

Statik Selektah's new G-Unit mixtape The Empire Strikes Back gives Fiddy's "Have A Party" an I Love The '80s makeover by mashing with Nu Shooz' "I Can't Wait."

Mobb Deep feat. 50 Cent - "I Cant Wait (Have A Party, Pt. 2)" (MP3 Link Expired)

Should show up in our new MP3 Feed. I agree with Fader ("irresistable shit for sure"), but for the hip-hop haters, an alternative: stream four cuts from that great new John Fahey tribute. Devendra, Calexico, Howe Gelb ... and Sufjan.

I was just checking out on the side there what you are listening to lately. All great stuff, but I want to ask what you think of Ariel Pink's House Arrest? I loved Worn Copy but I absolutely loathe House Arrest. I also believe Cat Power's The Greatest really is the Greastest and may stay that way through all of 2006, you never know.

OK, let's get this out of the way: Stereogum readers don't care about black people.
