Ben Gibbard Gets His Crank Yanked

Online radio show Cloak and Dagger got Jerky with Cutie Ben Gibbard in what they've titled an "Ambush Interview," cold-calling the Death Cabber and posing some silly questions for his consideration. Ben catches on early enough and plays along ("These gay rumors have been dogging me ... I'm blaming that on Johnathan Rice"). Unless this is the most revealing interview conducted with Gibbard ever, in which case we take Ben at his word and he truly is "pro-mingle."

That Ben Gibbard- pretty swift on the uptake. I love the "405" response- "me and my dog had a pretty interesting relationship, so..". Classic.

So how long before people figure out his phone number from the beeps and Ben has to change his number?

In response to Phill (and all the messages we received on our MySpace account), the beeps have been rearranged. Even if you do manage to match them, it won't be Mr. Gibbard that you're calling. Sorry doods.
