The jam-packed Red Hot compilation comes to life 5/3 at Radio City Music Hall with Dave Sitek, Dirty Projectors, Feist, My Brightest Diamond, the National, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, and more to be announced. Tickets go on sale Friday 3/13 via Ticketmaster. We will see you there. Also, if you remember when we first started listening to Dark's tracklist, folks were pretty much unanimously into the great Nico Muhly-arranged National track, "So Far Around the Bend." The Cello Song cover by Jose Gonzalez and The Books is the best track on the album--imho.

I have to politely, (but firmly) disagree with bananafana feux. The best tracks are the Yeasayer song followed closely by Grizzly Bear's majestically sad "Deep Blue Sea."

i never got into bon iver, but i loved their song on this compilation, so maybe that'll be a gateway for me.
