Download A Free Raveonettes Remix EP • The first of four free digital Raveonettes EPs finds three Lust Lust Lust tracks remixed icily by 80KIDZ ("Dead Sound"), Alec Empire-pal Nic Endo ("Aly, Walk With Me"), and Trentemøeller ("Lust"). The next EP, focusing on sampled beats/electronic textures, is available 9/23, followed by EPs on 10/21 and 11/25 (the Raveonettes' Christmas spectacular, btw). I like this band, and the remixes are so, so... but they are free (!) and that's always a good thing. Looking forward to the next set(s) to see if the songs translate into an even more electronic format. Or will they just suck ?

I will happily trade a CD-R copy of the Raveonettes Remix EP for a CD-R of some rare Raveonettes songs unavailable on any US release: 'Black Wave' [one of their best songs], 'Everyday' [Buddy Holly cover], I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry', 'Railroad Tracks' & I Wanna Be taken.
