Galaxie 500 Reissue Original Three Albums On Vinyl
If you don't own them already, Today, On Fire, and This Is Our Music are available on vinyl and as digital downloads in various bonus track/video-infused bundles at the Galaxie 500 store www.fierybreeze.com. (Orders ship 7/6.) Those of you unfamiliar with the classic dream pop trio piloted by Dean Wareham and Exact Changers Damon Krukowski and Naomi Yang (search out early Magic Hour, too), download This Is Our Music's seasonally appropriate opener "Fourth Of July" with the gift of an email address at www.deanandbritta.com. (No, they are not the Connells.)

While this is good news, can we PLEASE get someone to issue/reissue the Luna catalog? A copy of 'Penthouse' and 'Rendezvous' on vinyl would be delightful

Early Magic Hour? They were only around for what, 3-4 years? And their last album was also their best.

You think so? That was my way of saying get the first two, though Will They Turn You On... is my favorite. One of my favorite albums ever. The era I swore by Twisted Village and Wayne Rogers (and all his projects).

That 1990 vid was sweet, although I admit I was a little disappointed that it wasn't the Connells, cuz Stone Cold Yesterday is teh greatness. Although you can't play SCY at your barbeque on Saturday... or can you?

Electra owns the rights to all the Luna albums except for the last three (which are owned by other companies), so, unfortunately, Electra, Jetset and whoever owns what was once Jericho Recrods are the only ones who can release them on vinyl.
