Massive Attack - "Live With Me"

Out this week: Massive Attack's Collected. If you need a trip-hop history lesson, pick it up. There's one "new" song featuring Terry Callier on vocals. It was actually written for a movie that was never released, Rolling Stone reveals, but is currently serving as Stereogum's soundtrack to some very weird NY weather. What song would you play at the sign of the apocalypse?

"Raining Blood," by Slayer. Particularly since when I was about 17, I thought that the Apocalypse was actually, ya know, upon us during a concert (was completely sober too).

"Banging Everything In Sight" by Tomorrow's Friend or "Killer Parties" by Hold Steady. Probably the latter.

"here we come around again" by Dear Nora. no doubt. spiral the camera out and fade to credits on our lives. or just end a movie with this.
