Memory Tapes Remix Yeasayer

Here's yet another look for Yeasayer's excellent Odd Blood-teaser track "Ambling Alp," courtesy of the magic seeking Philadelphia sound man Dayve Hawk aka Memory Tapes. It's an official remix, joining DJ /rupture & Brent Arnold's anxious take on the song's 12" release. Where the original chirped, bleeped, and splayed ska-lined sunshine via horns and harmonies, and the /rupture/Arnold take lurked in the shadows of club-drugged ragga, Memory Tapes bases his "Alp" in new chords and a few different looks, calling on his brand of casio beats, '80s theme-song keys, and a dollop of guitars and digital squiggles.
