Neon Indian Remixes Au Revoir Simone

We've heard a few songs from Neon Indian's forthcoming Psychic Chasms -- "Should Have Taken Acid With You," "Deadbeat Summer," and "Terminally Chill" are all on it. Here's something that falls outside his full-length debut's expansive confines: Alan Palomo's left his clattering, psychedelic mark on Au Revoir Simone's "Another Likely Story." And it works.

Peculiar. I love both groups and want to love this but it sounds a bit messy. Maybe after a few more listens.

Still Night, Still Light is excellent though and I wouldn't mind hearing more remixes off of it.

As a pretty sizeable ARS fan... I'm not completely hating on this, though I do agree that it sounds a little messy at points. Still Night, Still Light is absolutely ace as is, I wouldn't mind seeing some other interpretations of its tracks.

saw neon indian in denton two nights ago, and they pulled their songs off surprisingly well live. plus the girl in the band is really cute and plays guitar so even better!...the band is great so keep following em!

I was there too! Once they got the sound-check right it was amazing. It just sucks they got shutdown so early, I was ready for at least another hour, but rubbergloves had to close.
