New Chromeo - "100% (Trackademicks' B-LIVE Pemberton Mix)"

Chromeo have always been one part keyboards, one part funk, and a smattering of non-threatening, occasionally comedic sexual undertones. Until "Momma's Boy" happened. At the Woodies they promised new material more along those Daryl Hall-approved lines, but first, there will be remixes. Treading the beverage-MP3 trail blazed by Mountain Dew, Bacardi's teamed up with A-Trak's Fools Gold label to help usher forth this new age in promotional music opportunities, and Chromeo's in the mix. The first of three Fools Gold producers taking a shot at Fancy Footwork's closer "100%" is Trackademick, rounding out the electrofunk with buzzier synths, a jiggier upbeat, and a horny half-time exit.
Chromeo - "100% (Trackademicks' B-LIVE Pemberton Mix)" (MP3)
It's not very teacherly to do alcohol-related tracks, Dave 1. Chromeo plans to pay it forward with a remix of their own, for their fellow Columbia classmates Vampire Weekend's "The Kids Don't Stand A Chance." That one will not be Bacardi related. Stay tuned, and drink responsibly.
