New Cloud Room - "La La Losing"

A few weeks ago we caught some sounds from Brooklyn rockers' the Cloud Room's first step back into our iPods in years -- and the time off did 'em right. The legend surrounding the magically infectious "Hey Now Now" (and the circumstances around the rushed first record) are all well set at this point, but the forthcoming Please Don't Almost Kill Me EP -- weighing in at a lean four tracks -- is a reversal of sorts: to the point, trim, crafted. "24 Hr. Heartbreak" was a dope shot of arena rousing bravado, and "La La Losing," the next EP track we get to give five stars in iTunes, kicks in with thrumming at the top and another chant-ready hook. "La"s for "Hey"s, more uncanny chorus crafting. Pretty sure J said something about "fucking gently" in there, so listen accordingly.

The title reminds me way too much of 'La La Love You.'

And the link doesn't work.

This is a great tune, but terrible mix. Way too vocal heavy with the drums too far back. The cool melotron strings need to come up more as well. Hopefully we'll see an updated mix on a full length at some point, if not, get me these files.
