New Goes Cube - "Song 37"

See, we'd call this band "emo" if it still meant what it did when Sunny Day Real Estate held sway. But those Diary days are gone, so now we call it dynamic, melodic, and perfectly brutal. Here's an unreleased cut from the loudest mofos you'll see at CMJ this year.

Goes Cube - "Song 37" (MP3 link removed)

We still really love "Song 27" and "Song 30," but new Cube is good Cube. Grab a few more MP3s from these loud locals here. The trio will be available during CMJ at the following locations: Union Hall (10/31 at 10PM), Guero (11/2 at 5PM), and The Delancey (11/2 at 11PM). Go with an open heart, an open mind, and properly protected ears.

Awesome, awesome (band name, song, etc).

Two other bands to check out at the Delancey that night: Shade at 8 and Parlour Boys at 9. Gonna be a sweet showcase.

goes cube is one of the best bands you'll hear in this city. they just keep getting more intense with each performance.

they play bluntly powerful rock ("perfectly brutal" was also a good fit) with a minimum of theatrical bullshit. screaming honesty, devastating chords, and rhythm to shake your bones loose may not work for you, but personally i'll chain myself to an amp and absorb all i can.

oh, and what a great post, "assface." way to keep your comments terse and meaningless. uninformed bleating goes really well with gratuitously painted keyboards and funny hats, so please go enjoy some other bands. happy halloween.
