New Kings Of Leon - "My Party (Kenna & Chad Hugo Remix)

The circumstances surrounding this one are a little murky, but here's what we gather: At some point, someone in camp Leon commissioned a remix album for Because Of The Times, and Kenna (along with Virginia Beach compatriot Chad Hugo) got the call to take on the raw-chugging rocker "My Party." But as these things go, the album ended up a music-industry fatality, and Kenna 'n' the Neptune man were sitting on their beat-laced take on the KoL track. Talks abound about what'll happen to the completed cuts, but it looks like they're gonna be seeping their way around the web soon enough. Yesterday, the stripped, rim-clickin' "My Party" made it into our inbox, so get yer grab on.

Anybody have anymore info about the scrapped remix album? If we hear anything, we'll letcha know. Enjoy.

As long as they don't fuck with the perfection that is "On Call" then I'm cool with this.

Cool remix, dig the light phaser on the chorus.

that remix was just really boring and bad. seems pretty obvious why the album was scrapped.

why would they wanna fuck with tracks like Fans and Ragoo anyway?

i love the neptunes and im glad chad is stepping out without pharrell and his skateboard, but amen tom. i dont think any remix could touch the sheer joy of ragoo or the absolute badassness that is mcfearless. if they do, im coming to find them.

Tasteful, and true to the original.

Not for everyone, but should work nice on the right dancefloors.

Very simple B-more (Baltimore breakbeats, for those who don't know) remix.

LOVE the KOL album, and I was not offended. If someone would have rapped - then, I'd be offended.
