New Leyode (Feat. Savath Y Savalas) - "Hassami"
We're always anxious to hear whatever Guillermo Scott Herren is lending his pseudonyms to, whether its his work as glitchmaster Prefuse 73 (always) or his stuff as acoustic alter-ego Savath Y Savalas (a few weeks ago). It's the latter character that turns up for vocal support on this track from ATL avant-electro duo Leyode (beatman Yusuke Hama and vocalist Laurel Wells). "Hassami"'s qualude-fueled walls of vox and digital textures are enveloping, hypnotic, and presently have us melting into the couch.
