New Little Dragon - "Blinking Pigs"
You've had a chance to hear a couple of tracks from chilly Gothenburg electro quartet Little Dragon's sophomore album Machine Dreams. Like last time, the focus of "Blinking Pigs" is vocalist Yukimi Nagano (and her haunted nights), though the beat and a few synthesized laser squiggles have a way of working their way into the focus/eardrum as well. The pop hook's also a bit more immediate this time, too (i.e. it's not just for the dance-floor addicts).

Fucking love these guys. Breakout act if the year (now you tell me that they had an album out a couple years ago and they've been all over the place and I'm a slow, lousy person, etc)

Agree. Kind of spaced-out for the dance-floor really. The album's out in the UK - might try to cop it at this great record shop in Baltimore that gets all the imports.
