New Mice Parade - "Double Dolphins On The Nickel"

Mice Parade's forthcoming, self-titled record is a stunner, and another on our already-stuffed you-must-have list. (Never too early for a list!) The Adam Pearce-led folk/post-rock project builds on 2005's excellent Bem-Vinda Vontade with this May release, particularly with the atmospheric lilt of stand-out "Tales Of Les Negras," featuring the honey-coated vocals of Lætitia Sadier (Stereolab) and a hard-smacking keyboard-drum groove.

Our favorite, though, is "Double Dolphin On The Nickel," another track with the perfect cameo, Adam's understated vox joining the track only after múm's Kristin Anna Valtysdottir (aka Kría Brekkan) has spun two-and-a-half minutes of her child-like, icy inflections. From there, like the rest of the record, it's a post-rock arrangement master class. Taught by a dude who naps on tables.

Mice Parade - "Double Dolphins On The Nickel" (MP3)

Mice Parade is out 5/8 on FatCat.

Enjoy.

Nice to hear the guy on a cajon for some South American stylings...but I find it unfortunate what he's done with vocals (I hate hearing the Mum gal sing words).

Laetitia Sadier is probably the only vocal turn I'll like on this record, and maybe even just for her actual voice and not what she's singing.

Hey guys I know this is completely off-topic but this is probably the only place i can turn to for help. Does anyone know where I can find high quality concert footage of artists on the net, either for direct download or through bittorrent?? In the past I got a direct download of a miniset jenny lewis did somewhere(i can't remember the site) and I just recently picked up joanna newsom at Church Hall on demonoid (http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/921805/1850365/)
But I was wondering if there were any specific sites that dealt solely with what i'm looking for, or if i'm just stuck searching the torrent sites with minimal hope... any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
