New Mogwai - "Auto Rock"

Cool new instrumental from Glasgow's unhappiest post-rockers. Based around a pleasant piano riff, intro "Auto Rock" subtly adds layers of fuzzed out synth, ultimately coiling into a dense, slow-core stomper. Elsewhere on Mogwai's forthcoming LP, there's full-fledged rock action ("We're No Here") and Go Find-style clicktronica dirges ("Acid Food," which ends with some unexpectedly sweet pedal steel), but this is as indicative of Mr. Beast as any of the tracks. What do y'all think? Do you like your Mogwai soft or hard?

Or fuzzy with big ears?

UPDATE: Here's another new one, from the publicity folk:

I really like it--even the boop-y keyboard crap. I've been a fan since "Young Team". I like best the songs that swell from quiet-to-loud-to-insane finish.

They put on a great, intense live show. But loud: it made me worry after my hearing.

I love it, very epic and chilling to me. Makes me sort of reminiscient(sp?) of the past..Weird. But I love it, a GREAT ending to Miami Vice too.
