New Of Montreal - "Labyrinthian Pomp"

We're proud to premiere this cut from Of Montreal's forthcoming Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?, full to the brim with cartoonish falsetto, electro-layers, comical funk, and quirky Kevin melodies.

Of Montreal - "Labyrinthian Pomp" (MP3)

You'll be able to grab the record as a "double vinyl 180 gram, triple gatefold" which will come with a four-song bonus EP (a five-track EP featuring those songs and one more will be available as a tour-only CD). Here's a look at the fold-out artwork for the Hissing Fauna CD.

For your listening pleasure, here's one of the EP tracks:

Of Montreal - "Du Og Meg" (MP3)

One more album track YANP. And if all of that ain't not enough for your ears, stream the entire album here.

Enjoy.

i like what they've done with the album artwork, great incentive to actually buy the cd rather than download it. some band should include swiss chocolates or something to up their album sales.

Wow, Maximus is really excited about that tour. I'm in love with that album art. well done once again, david barnes, of montreal artist and brother to lead singer. his website is great, too, and he'll do a portrait of you for $. his website is:

"Deg og meg" - that's Norwegian. It means "you and me".

ooooh, the stream website is a godsend! i heard the entire album and think it's just brilliant, it's no sunlandic twins in my opinion, but a few hundred listens should change that. gonna defiantly buy it when it comes out.
