New Panda Bear - "Comfy In Nautica"

Animal Collective's Noah Lennox is unleashing a third solo effort, one which he promises to be a drastic shift from his last effort Young Prayer, swapping acoustic instruments for "samplers and electronics." And while we're taking the label at their word, what do they think about the quality of the new album?

Paw Tracks feels that the passing of time will show Panda Bear’s Person Pitch sitting alongside the great solo albums of Paul McCartney, George Michael, and Ghostface Killah.
Well then! But don't worry, Panda Bear's off to a great start; the first single's Beach Boys-inflected, percussive noise-loop awesomeness is bested only by its title.

This song isn't really that new. It came out back in 2005 on the "I'm Not/Comfy In Nautica" EP. This version is shit quality, too.

But it's a great tune and Person Pitch is going to be the record of the year, you'll see.

Anyway, everything AC-related is gonna kill in '07. I can't fuckin wait.

the AC boys are quickly becoming my favorite band. I can't wait for the follow-up to Feels and Person Pitch.

yeah this has been around for a little while but i know that rusty santos has mastered and mixed the album or something. so its all cohesive. so i'm assuming this is a new/final mix since its from the pawtracks web site. sounds good.

i wonder if theyre joking when they say that stuff about it being classic though....i mean....thats a serious thing to say about yourself......
