New Rolling Stones - "Gimme Shelter (Streetlab Mix)"

Streetlab comprises two dudes from Brooklyn (Mark Lamorg and Ryan Leary) that are all about mashing dance beats to classic rock tracks. They've just released another one, bringing some low-riding washboard and deep-pocket groove to the Stones classic.

I was way more intrigued by the "Starla" remix - that's where the Pumpkins peaked, as far as I'm concerned, and anytime it gets mentioned I get happy - but I gotta give it a big fat meh. These are beats that the Chemical Brothers would've thrown out 10 years ago.
