New Supergrass - "Diamond Hoo Ha Man" (Live @ Guilford)

Oxford Britpoppers Supergrass flout their In It For The Money past with a FREE live download, coupled with an eye (and ear) toward embracing the now. What does that even mean? How about opening for Arctic Monkeys? It's true. This also entails pulling wild-eyed vox and dirty, octavized riffs from the Icky Thump playbook on the new; sample "Diamond Hoo Ha Man," recorded live at the Guilford Festival last month. Quite Jack (though Danny's a bit more 'metronomic' than Meg, eh Kelefa?).

The new record is done and being mixed in L.A. No release date or title yet, but we'll keep ya posted.

Is it just me or does the first 20 seconds or so sound EXACTLY like the White Stripes?

I loved Road to Rouen. Should have received much more attention. Diamond Hoo Ha Man really reminds me of The Ocean by Led Zeppelin. I'm anxious to hear the rest of the new stuff.
