New Trans Am - "Obscene Strategies"

This year sees Thrill Jockey's synthy post-rockers release their eighth album, and it's a step up from their last, George Bush-samping effort. Shifting between motorik grooves ("First Words") and New Order workouts ("Exit Management Solution"), Sex Change tweaks their strengths while introducing more straight-on vocals and balls-out rock. Here's a taste of the record's low-riding electro-punk:
