New Thermals - "Now We Can See"

thubmnail icon: New Thermals - "Now We Can See"

The bouncy Portland trio recently gave us a Progress Report about their forthcoming forth album Now We Can See that included a look at the album art, insights from ever caffeinated Hutch Harris, and a listen to the demo of Now's "When I Was Afraid." Adding to our Thermals stockpile, now we can hear the completed title track, a quick and catchy pop anthem you ought to be singing along to before it nods out at an efficient 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Maybe not all of Harris' words -- as usual, the guy likes to cram syllables into his sermons -- but at least the "oh-way-oh-a-whoa" parts.

The Thermals - "Now We Can See" (MP3)

Now We Can See:

01 "When I Died"
02 "We Were Sick"
03 "I Let It Go"
04 "Now We Can See"
05 "At the Bottom of the Sea"
06 "When We Were Alive"
07 "I Called Out Your Name"
08 "When I Was Afraid"
09 "Liquid In, Liquid Out"
10 "How We Fade"
11 "You Dissolve"

Now We Can See is out 4/7 via Kill Rock Stars.

Sounds kind of silly, I think they should go back to their more parts per million sound.

they're terrible. and if people were flipping out about the vivian girl's uncensored interviews they should take a look at Chairlift's. they have to be the most pretentious moron's alive. i wanted to punch that one dude with the curly hair in his face.

glad to see that they're done recycling the guitar riff that they used on every fucking song on 'the body, the blood, the machine'

This song rules. The last album ruled. The Thermals rule. All losers with opinions other than those I've just listed...drool.
