BTW Throw Me The Statue offer up a second track from their forthcoming second proper full-length, the self and Phil Ek-produced Creaturesque. We found "Ancestors" to be reminiscent of old-time indie (Butterglory to be precise), and the propulsive and melodic guitar rock of "Hi-Fi Goon" throws back like some lost, surging Built To Spill jam circa Keep It Like A Secret, sans inimitable solo slinging.

yes! i think this new track rules. interested to see if they take this new rockn sound across all the new tunes. been an avid fan of tmts since seeing them at union hall in brooklyn on the last record, psyched to see the new stuff live.
