Stereogum Presents: Yep Roc CMJ Day Party W/ Apples In Stereo

We're two weeks away from CMJ, and the full schedule is now online. So start planning! But leave Thursday afternoon open.

This year Stereogum's sponsoring the dayshow for one of our favorite labels, Yep Roc. Here are the details:

We're so psyched. Apples' New Magnetic Wonder is out in February on Elijah Wood's new label, Simian Records (a joint venture with Yep Roc, distributed by Redeye), so expect to hear some new stuff. Listen to songs from all the showcase bands here.

if we're doing requests here... put "nick" down for 4 beers, that'll get me loose but not sloppy.

i prefer a nice hoppy IPA too.

Even though they're at the bottom of the billing, American Princes are the best band on that roster. Why, dear blogosphere, did "Little Spaces" not get the recognition it deserved? Yes, I'm holding you accountable.

American Princes rock. "Never Grow Old" never grows old on my IPod. The only other band I've seen on the bill are the Apples in Stereo, but the Princes sound better live.

The Apples rock! They will be performing as a 6 piece! Maybe YOU just need to be off the sauce. I hear alcohol can lead to abusive behaavior. ;)
