The 'Gum Drop LV: Hear New Magnetic Morning (Interpol + Swervedriver), Win A Fender Guitar

thubmnail icon: The 'Gum Drop LV: Hear New Magnetic Morning (Interpol + Swervedriver), Win A Fender Guitar

Magnetic Morning's the project of Interpol drummer Sam Fogarino and Swervedriver frontman Adam Franklin. The duo previously put out a self-titled six-song EP and recently completed their debut LP A.M. in Athens, Georgia with the help of the Album Leaf's Jimmy LaVelle, among others. In this week's 'Gum Drop we premiered the epic, downcast, fresh-from-the-studio "At A Crossroads, Passive" and spoke with Adam and Sam about the track: Take a listen and learn what happens when you arrive at crossroads and don't move. A.M. is out 10/21 via Friend Or Faux. You can hear more Magnetic Morning at their MySpace.

This week, we also offered the chance to take home a Fender Highway One Texas Telecaster Guitar.

One winner gets a Fender® Highway One™ Texas Telecaster® Guitar, courtesy of Dear And The Headlights. The Phoenix quintet's second studio album Drunk Like Bible Times is out Tuesday, 9/30, via Equal Vision. (They recently completed a tour with Jimmy Eat World and are currently out on the road with Margot & The Nuclear So and So's.) You can download "Talk About," a track from the album, over at the Equal Vision website. The guys used a Fender Highway One Telecaster on the album. It's made in the USA and valued at $1,200. This is what it looks like:

For more info on Dear And The Headlights, check out the band's website and their MySpace. The guys:

Enter to win. You also have time to sign up to win a season of Human Television on DVD, a HT t-shirt by Threadless, and a gift certificate for more Threadless gear.

CONTEST ENDS 10/01/08 AT 12PM EST.

You had me at Swervedriver. The new guitar is totally the topping on this delicious (oddly arousing) cake.
