The 'Gum Drop XLVIII: Hear New Fujiya & Miyagi, Win A Pair Of Ray-Bans

thubmnail icon: The 'Gum Drop XLVIII: Hear New Fujiya & Miyagi, Win A Pair Of Ray-Bans

Brighton smooth talkers Fujiya & Miyagi's new album Lightbulbs is forthcoming 9/16 on Deaf Dumb & Blind in the States. (It follows 2006's "Ankle Injuries"-birthing Transparent Things.) In advance of the release, Lightbulbs standout "Dishwasher" premiered in this week's 'Gum Drop. F&M's David Best, aka Miyagi, answered our questions about the track, "a comment on the death of ambition or just getting older, when people stop thinking about sex and think more about how much storage facilities they have." You can read the rest while you listen here.

Speaking of consuming, we also offered the chance to win a pair of limited-edition polarized Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses.

Take a look at the Ray-Bans, brought to you by the Airborne Toxic Event.

You can get more info on the Outdoorsman RB3030 here.

As far as L.A.'s Airborne Toxic Event, the Silver Lake five piece's self-titled debut is out 8/5 on Majordomo. You can find out more about the band at their MySpace and their YouTube page. This is them:

One winner takes home the sunglasses and some TATE. But you need to enter first. There's also still time to win an Epiphone G-400-SG electric guitar: Do it.

CONTEST ENDS 08/13/08 AT 12PM EST.
