Stereogum's Most Downloaded Tracks Of '07, And All Our MP3s As Zips
Too over everything 2007? Still too hungover to read? We'll keep this short: We found a way to make the most of peak 2007 by offering up the complete year in Stereogum mp3 downloads (minus MySplice) as bit torrentable (and regular) zips, weighing in at nearly three and a half gigabytes of free and (as always) legal mp3s. what about the M83 track?

Did you use some sort of calculations to project what an MP3 posted in November vs. February would have been had it had a full 11-12 months to be downloaded? Those early year postings had longer time to be downloaded, hence the m83 question comment above... Just saying. Don't mean to get all calculate on you.
I'd be more interested to see what's on Stereogum's itunes playcount, assuming you use itunes to play your music?

@bingo, we did not, although tracks usually drop off pretty quickly after a short time- a huge spike, a wobbly drop-off that lasts less than a month, and then very little aftewards. so adjusting for how long they've been live might shuffle the list somewhat, but it's not going to add a lot (like m83, which wasn't a download) that's not already in there.

Foo's version of "car running" sounds less like eddie and the cruisers than arcade, but it's hard to escape that melody. Check my website.
