Twilight On The Radio

When reports trickled in about Greg Dulli's Twilight Singers taking on TVOTR's "Wolk Like Me" [sic!] at the Southgate House on 11/4, we begged for some YouTube action. Now we can do one better! Here's the Twilight take on the tune from their 11/8 set at The Loft in ATL. You gotta believe in Dulli's smoked out vox to dig -- but if you do, you're gonna love it. Anyone else rocking Cookie covers these days? Maybe this will inspire 'em.

The Twilight Singers - "The Killer / Wolf Like Me" (MP3) (SendSpace)

Enjoy.

Thank you so much for this. I saw them at Cat's Cradle in NC and they performed this. Jeff Klein assisted on vocals.

I saw them play wednesday night and they started out the encore with a Justin timberlake cover (lovestoned)...then went right into The Killer, which morphed into Wolf Like me. what a great show.

Local H (remember them?) have been doing "Wolf Like Me" since about July. I have an mp3 of it on my other computer, I'll up it when I get home from work.

Am I the only one that thinks this sounds like a high-school cock-rock cover band showing that they have some indie cred? It really illustrates the brilliance of TVOTR's production and arrangements.

As promised, Local H - "Wolf Like Me" (08-13-2006). The track's 11-some minutes b/c there's another Local H original tacked on the end.

Thanks, Wolfy! That rocks.

I only have their studio/demo version of the song as a m4a file, but it is streaming on their myspace:

they sold out at the show, and i cant seem to find any online.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
