V Is For Rapping About Natalie Portman's Vagina

MC Hershlag's new movie comes out Friday.

Critical response has been mixed. But Alan Moore, the graphic novelist who created V, thinks it's shit. The NY Times ran a big profile about his vendetta against V For Vendetta. Best quote (totally out of context): "If I had raped and murdered a schoolbus full of retarded children after selling them heroin, I doubt that I would have been cross-examined for 10 hours."

I'm always amused by Arts & Leisure's unfortunate juxtaposition of ads and editorial. (She goes for the Magazine.)

Previously...

And since you keep e-mailing us about where you can watch Miss Portman's SNL Digital Short: it's on NBC.com.

The only problem here is that Alan Moore is batshit insane. He's a genius, but he's also obsessive in looking for any reason to take offense. I swear, the man is beyond paranoid.

It's just Moore - not that I can blame him after his last two comics-to-film projects (LXG and From Hell). But David Lloyd (the guy that isn't Alan Moore who co-created V, you know, the ARTIST!), he has said he enjoyed the film. No one seems to want to talk to him about it, though.

I haven't seen "V for Vendetta" yet obviously, but there's some interesting views about the political message the producers/writers were going for. A lot of it has to do with the difference between terrorists and freedom fighters:
