Good Luck Getting Tickets To My Bloody Valentine's Two Rehearsal Shows This Weekend

thumbnail icon: Good Luck Getting Tickets To My Bloody Valentine's Two Rehearsal Shows This Weekend

Get psyched. Just over 40 years ago it was the summer of love. This weekend we "warm up" for the summer of Loveless. OK well "we" here in NYC are already 90º-in-the-shade warm, but My Bloody Valentine are taking two nights this weekend in London to get in shape for their hotly anticipated reunion tour. Drowned In Sound reports that MBV's two "rehearsal" shows at the 350-person ICA, scheduled for this Friday and Saturday night, are sold out (imagine that), and eBay tickets are already fetching over 200 quid (~$3,324 USD). Official tix were available through WeGotTickets.com, so keep clicking and pray. The band's getting ready for a five-night stand at the London Roundhouse from 6/20-6/24, and on the horizon, of course, is that little trip through the States you might have heard about. More info on the rehearsal gig and etc. at the ATP site.

Speaking of Lilys, Microcastle, which I really like, has been giving me Lilys flashbacks. The earlier pre-Kinks-esque stuff.
