Neighborhood #3 (Power Out) Animated Video

I've always said "Neighborhood #3" should've been the first single from The Arcade Fire. Anyway, Plates Animation has done a cool flash video for the tune. Watch it here! (Link via Dave.)

You can still download the audio track courtesy of Toolshed Media, though you already have it if you've been paying attention.

The Arcade Fire - "Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)" (MP3)

For the true indie-yuppies ... Funeral's available on vinyl.

The video seems like a pretty literal interpretation of the song, despite the cool animation.

Aww...I ALWAYS have the image of choreographed flag wavers in my head during the xylophone parts.

i've always thought there was this 19th century english industial revolution but in a post-apocalypical anti-authoritarian way going on with the arcade fire. this proves it.

Neighbourhood #3 was released as a radio single here in Canada first...but the video wasn't put into rotation. Rebellion (Lies) is being played to shit on Much Music tho.
